My 1969 Corvette with a modified 427 L88 started up for the first time. Inside the hooker sidepipes is mounted powerstick mufflers.

The powerstick mufflers is replaced with reverse flow mufflers for a more acceptable sound level, but the flow became too restricted and the engine lost a lot of attitude and power (so the powerstick mufflers went back on again... ;-)
