Problem is resolved. There was a vacuum-leak: one of the tubes was loose. Also re-adjusting the Co2 levels helped the problem disappear. I'm enjoying a true and silent W126 again!!! (in het nederlands hieronder) As good as I can in tech-English: MB 3…

For reference when I remove the rear muffler. Car is an 82 W126 380SE, 220hp (South African car). Accidentally hit 7000rpm (redline at 6600) whoops. 3.8l SOHC V8 for those who don't know. And yes, it is running a bit rich in high rpm ;)
