1986 Fiero 2m6 having big problems

Description

My car takes a minute to start at times, has a horrible miss, once in a while a backfire, shifts late at times and it just don't feel right. As of 4/15/2011 I figured the car has jumped time 180 degrees and the rod bearing was bad, I threw a rod a couple hours after getting it back.
