Volvo C30 Motorshow Launch - Thailand

Description

The new Volvo C30 official launch at the Bangkok International Motorshow (BITEC Arena), March 2008. A spectacular show stealing performance yet again from Volvo Car Thailand, led by Paul Stokes, President in a masked switchover appearance. The show has an environmental theme with the unveiling of the C30 E85 (85% bioethanol) production car in Thailand (launched later that year) and the first showing in SE Asia of the C30 ReCharge plug-in microhybrid (ethanol/electric) concept car. Attended by well over 500 media including national TV. The stand was visited by Ambassadors from Sweden, India, and the USA, plus ministers of energy and industry of the Royal Thai Govt. The C30 sold 400% of target from this lauch in 6 months through the "CLUB C30" concept which started that night.
