Td5 Alive Defender 90 At Land Rover Fest 07

Ian Smalley's Off Road prepaired, 2004 Defender 90, Representing Td5 Alive at Land Rover Fest 2007, Peterborough Showground. This car has no Anti Roll Bars fitted, and so had some extreme body roll on the corners, making the near side wheels spin, and hence slowing it down. This car has recently drag raced against Golf Mk1 & Mk2 GTi's, a VW Toureg, a lightweight Land Rover V8, and a few other cars too. It beat every one of them on the quater mile!!! This 90 managed a best time of 1 minute, 5.34 seconds, over three laps on the Sunday. That's 6th place overall, behind Allisport's 2007 Defender (with propane injection turned right up!) - 1 minute 4.19 seconds, then my Disco Manual, then my Disco Auto, then Edd's Bowler Wildcat, and Twisted's Drifter up there at number 1.
