Nice " Blondes " 1 / 2 and a AC " Ace " 6 x Cyl - The Man From UNCLE

Here's the 1st part of a nice scene featuring 2 x blonde ladies and a british AC " Ace " 6 x cylinder sports car. The scene is from the 1st Season episode " The Girls of Nazarone Affair ". As you can see from the beginning of the clip the scene and story is based in he French Riviera. This 1st part depicts the " arrival " of the girls and their car. The next part will show their departure. Note the different tone / sound of the " sportscar 6 x cylinder ". This episode also featured another classic british sports car; the Jaguar " E-Type " ( also 6 x cylinder ). Later a US race driver ( at Le Mans ) Carroll Shelby ( male ) noticed a 6 x cylinder AC " Ace " and after retiring from racing ( due to a health condition ) he " married " the AC " Ace " body with a Ford " small block " V8 engine. Shelby would import the body and add the V8 and hence created and sold it as ( initially ) the AC " Ace - Cobra ", then it was gradually renamed AC " Shelby Cobra " , and simply Shelby " Cobra ". Hence this car is often / sometimes better known by it's US name than it's original british name; and some people think the body is also US; etc. Eventually Shelby took to Le Mans to race against the Ferrari's; plus he sold road going versions. An example being in the contempary mid 60's TV show " Honeywest " starring Anne Francis. Enjoy !.
