1987 Cadillac Allante This has a 4.1L V8 making only 170 HP while paired to a 4 Speed Auto. Cadillac/GM those days came out with this car with the intention to compete against european coupes like the Jaguar XJS or the Mercedes SL. But this was a terrible car in terms of quality, ease of use, an electrical nightmare, & a very problematic engine. An the best of all, they had the guts to make it FWD & at the price of $54700. It was cheaper than the other, but it in now way could compete and the car was never successful in terms of sales.
