In addition to more cargo space and versatility than the Elantra sedan, the Touring features a sportier suspension that promises livelier handling. The shared powertrain comprises a 141-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine matched with either a five-speed manual or four-speed Shiftronic automatic transmission. XM satellite radio is standard, as is a USB port that offers iPod control via the steering wheel-mounted audio controls. Look for it toward the end of 2008 at prices somewhere north of the sedan's.
