P-38 LIGHTNING "GLACIER GIRL" attempted flight to England
Description
This is a video of the last few hours of preparation prior to the departure of the famous P-38F "Glacier Girl" from the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino, California on its historic flight to Duxford, England. Stephen Grey's newly built TF-51 "Miss Velma" is accompanying Glacier Girl on this historic flight. Steve Hinton is flying glacier Girl. John Hinton is flying Miss Velma in this video.
