22RE Tear- Down

Description

The tear down not "taredown" of my 1988 Toyota 4Runner engine. Its a 22RE L4 2.4l. This is the first time the engine is going to be rebuilt. the only thing that has been done to it since it was made some 22 years ago, is that it has been re ringed and the A/C system has been tweaked to take R- 134a. Im planning on boring it out, shaving or changing the heads, installing a cam, port and polish, and every thing new. Oil pump, water pump, alternator , starter, hoses, etc... The sad thing is that i wont be able to use it for a while. NO OFF ROADING. No stick shift.No scarring friends making it feel like the truck is going to flip over :( . But at least we have other cars to use like my dad 7.3l Turbo Diesel F-350 Stick Shift with performance chip, and exhaust straight from the turbo. And my moms Silverado with verrrrrrrry light tail end :) (Drifting) ; Have no clue whats the name of the song but i do know it does not belong to me.
