Description

Back in 1972 BOZ was created by Ricardo Bouroncle and Enrique Ortiz de Zevallos, sportsmen who were looking for the best wetsuit for surfing the coasts of Peru. Not satisfied with the standards of the wetsuits offered in that moment they decided to make their own interpretation of what a wetsuit must be and formed BOZ, putting as the brand the initial letters of their last names. In 1987 Ricardo bought Enriques his part of the brand, giving a new impulse at BOZ. Ricardo, a professional surfer with international experience in competitions, designs the wetsuits covering the priority demands of the athletes: flexibility, warmth, comfort and strength, which were and will be the prime considerations for BOZ. We continuously develop the wetsuits using less pieces and junctions, working with the material manufacturers around the world. During the last few years, Boz has been involved in the evolution of neoprene materials which are more flexible, and the advanced technology in the processes of junctions and seams for the wetsuits. BOZ is proud to be at the vanguard of development and design of the best wetsuits of the world exporting our products to USA, Chile and South Africa.
