132632 / 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
Description
Featuring a 100% original powertrain, this 1969 Z/28 is a recipient of the Chevy Vettefest Gold Spinner Award, has been certified by Jerry MacNeish, and is believed to be the only Dover White and Orange houndstooth combo car left in existence. During the just completed restoration, this Camaro was stripped to a bare shell and rebuilt using expert craftsmanship and an acute attention to detail. Once the body was ready, GM code 50 Dover White was re-applied to each body panel and a set of correctly stenciled gloss black X77 Z/28 rally stripes were painted across the car's hood and decklid. The 302 mounted in the car is a correct DZ block that features correct high performance rectangular port heads, a forged steel crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods, four-bolt mains and forged aluminum pistons. At the top of the motor a GM ZL2 style satin black air filter displays a correct "302 Turbo Fire" lid decal and a correct side mounted AC decal. Under that air filter, a correct Holley 4053 carburetor displays a date code of 934. Under that carburetor, a correct Winter aluminum intake sits between correct C319 dated double hump heads that wear correct finned aluminum Corvette valve covers. At the back of the motor, a correct 9D2 date coded distributor sends power through correct Packard Suppression wires. And at the front of the motor, a correct date coded 9D28 alternator sits behind a correct L68 fan which is turned by fresh V-belts. In front of that fan, a correct radiator <b>...</b>
