Ford Granada 1,6 OHC behind the wheel

Description

Most likeley one of the lamest gasoline cars ever built by humans. Just about 75 HP out of 1600 ccm Overhead Camshaft and four cilinders in a row fed by a 32/36 Weber Carb on a 2,0 Intake (not the original setup), moving 1,3 Tons of steel and chrome. Tops out at about 160-170km/h. This thing was built by Ford just for about half a year in 1982, originaly the idea was to have an alternative to the 2,1 litre Diesel engine. However, six months, that's how long it took the people at FOMOCO to understand that such a big car with such a lame engine is crap, and won't sell enough. This one is one of very few Granadas with that engine that survived untouched and are still driving around on a daily basis. I use mine as a driver for long haul. Traveling an average of 2000 km per month, doing 120-140km/h and using just a bit over 8 litres of gasoline.
