Toy Bus Crash Test
Description
Someone I know recommended that I watch the crash test of the Brilliance BS6, and while I was naturally horrified at the ensuing wreck, I was impressed by the rigor of the testers at the ADAC (though the only word of German that I know is "nein"); of course, if you know better (and you know German), please do tell me whether the test was indeed rigorous. I thus got the idea that I could do a similar test for toy cars with similar rigor, but realized that all the ones I had were either broken or given away. Furthermore, I was concerned that having to push the car would lead to speed and direction inconsistencies. Then I (thankfully) got this toy bus that could be wound up in given increments and released to run at a consistent speed, so I used this as my first test car. If not this, I might have used a Cozy Coupe (you know, those plastic toy cars that can fit smaller kids inside and has 2 half-doors with a yellow top and red bottom and a missing underbody). I posted this as a reply to the toy Chevrolet Suburban crash test video due to the relation of testing toy versions of rather big people-movers. Oh, and real school buses (at least the older ones) have no airbags or seatbelts, and neither does this toy (which I could not also disassemble to place in a cotton air bag). Please do rate and comment on this!
