Forza 4 | All The Cars | Part 13 | The 1965 : Alfa Romeo - Giulia Sprint GTA Stradale

Description

Information of the car: Alleggerita mean "lightweight" in Italian, and by modern standards the Giulia gran turismo alleggerita is lighter than a dust mote, weighing in at less than 1700 lbs. Prepared by Alfa Romeo's competition department, Autodelta SpA, the GTA shaves weight off nearly every component. The outer panels are aluminum, and the steel monocoque is thinner gauge as well. The side glass was tossed and plastic windows fitted, and racing-style magnesium alloy wheels round out the package. The rev-happy motor wears a twin-spark head with larger carburetors, making more power out of the 1750cc motor. When you take it all in, it's the same gorgeous Bertone coupe shape as the regular Giulia GTV, trimmed down to fighting weight and packing a roaring twin-cam four. It's understandable, then, how this timeless, classic road homologation version complements the race-winning GTA Corse models. Stats of the car: Power : 86 KW (115 HP) Torque : 142.0 Nm (105 LB-FT) Weight : 760 KG (1.676 LBS) Speed : 3.0 Handling : 3.7 Acceleration : 6.1 Launch : 6.4 Braking : 3.7 Price (In Game) : 60.000 CR Manufacturer History: Alfa Romeo got its start in 1910, when Italian Cavaliere Ugo Stella purchased Darracq, a failing French car manufacturer. Stella named his company ALFA, an acronym for Anomina Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili. With the outbreak of WWI, ALFA became part of a group of companies owned by Nicola Romeo, was renamed Alfa Romeo, and started focusing on military hardware ...
