Tools needed: 6 quarts Mobil 1 2 bottles Guinness Oil filter cartridge 13 mm socket 24 mm socket Ratchet A long extension Drain pan or source of groundwater. This is the cleanest oil change I've ever done, but you will get a little dirty. Change out of your tuxedo before starting. This car has a cartridge type oil filter, which isn't common. In fact I've never seen one before. That's the reason for my monkey like expression in the vid. Thinking is hard. You do not need to lift the car unless you have short arms or like to lift cars. GM recommends Mobil 1 5w-30 or some GM spec you will never find for your 2007 CTS. It says so in the owner's manual someplace.
