Australia 2009 - Day 4: Driving to the Blue Mountains (3/23/09)
Description
One of the things I really wanted to do in Australia was to drive there -- mind you, they drive on the left side of the road and the driver's seat is on the opposite side. So I got a nice deal (thanks to ASCAP) on a car rental and drove my '08 Toyota Camry Altise west through Sydney and to Homebush Bay, site of Sydney Olympic Park, where I got to see the site of the 2000 Summer Olympics. Then I headed even farther west on the M4 Motorway to the town of Katoomba in the beautiful Blue Mountains, where a stunning, awe-inspiring view of a eucalyptus-filled canyon with sandstone rock formations greeted my eye. All of the music included in these videos contains music heard while on my trip.
