Giugiaro Unveils the Ultimate Auto

Legendary designer Fabrizio Giugiaro unveiled his Giugiaro Mustang concept vehicle at the LA Auto Show. I spoke with him about the dramatic styling he incorporated in the car. One remarkable feature was the dramatic one-piece glass unit that incorporates the vehicle's front window, panoramic roof and rear window all in one. Provided by Solutia, the panel contains a Saflex glass interlayer that has solar-absorbing properties, as described by the company's Ana Wagner.
