56 CHEVY NOMAD - Trophy Winner - SOLD!
Description
This stunning 1956 Chevy Nomad Wagon is one of the 12 classics I am offering for sale in my collection. While the color is factory root beer brown and tan, the brown has metal flake accents and has been clear coated. The interior of the vehicle is in factory accents of tan and brown. The 265 V-8 automatic transmission was replaced with an upgraded high performance 383 SB Chev is carburated with dual quads. It has a full serpentine package which gives it air conditioning, power steering and an alternator rather than a generator. The steering has also been upgrade to rack and pinion. The overall restoration concept was old school and has been slightly lowered in the front with corresponding old school mags. The big money has been spent and while there is a small amount of stainless upgrades that could be done it looks, runs and drives impeccably as you can see by one of my few pictures of the car at the Portland Roadster Show. Coming marketing attractions will be sound and motion movies of the car and a complete photographic portfolio top to bottom inside and out. Offered initially are the pictures to get you started. The Hemmings price guide lists this wagon at a low #4 condition value at $44400 and a #1 condition value at $94800.
