Berkeley, California has all kinds of characters. Some of them are jerks. This guy is one of them. He waits until we are very busy and then places our staff's tip jar into his plastic bag and walks out. He's an older Asian male wearing scrubs and can be seen about 30 seconds into the video. He'll wander around, not order anything, and as soon as the coast is relatively clear, steal the tip jar. The theft happens around 2 minutes, 20 seconds into the video. We're smarter now - we use a nice chain, and have made the opening small enough so nobody can stick a hand inside. Let him try to take it now.
