Numbers matching 350hp 327ci L79 engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Originally assembled on November 26, 1965, this 1966 Corvette L79 Convertible is in very nice condition, and comes with some very nice features as well. This car's paint appears to be older, but looks to have been a high quality job, and is still in overall very good condition. Convertible top looks to be a few years old as well, with the beginnings of some typical yellowing around the stitching, but is still in very good condition with no rips, tears, or stains, and a very clear window. Tonneau cover shows hardware for an auxiliary hardtop; although a hardtop was not included with this car when it came to us, we can add a matching auxiliary hardtop for an additional $1700. All sideglass on this car shows a correct date code. Chrome bumpers look to have been rechromed in the last few years, and are in very good condition. Please note however that there is a small ding on the rear driver's side bumper. Taillights are in very good condition with no typical cracks. Weatherstripping is older, and in fair to good condition. Side exhaust has been added to this car for that classic rumble that is sure to turn heads, and a set of knockoff style wheels has been added to this car as well.
