1965 Chevy Nova
Description
I always try to focus on a car that gets my attention for one reason or another, and I have been meaning to film this car for a while. It was a father/son project, the son passed on unfortunately due to illness, but he was able to see the project completed and, it was at this show that the car was first shown. Father and son shook hands at this show several years ago, saying the project was done, and enjoyed their project. Bravo, memories like this one can't put any price on, they mean so much. The car itself has the chassis of a Chevy Camaro under it, the more eagle-eyed viewers will note under the hood this is no ordinary Chevy-II front suspension, the rear suspension is equal in modifications as well. The engine is interesting, it is a 327 V-8 bored out, putting out 400 horse power, and 500 pound-feet of torque. The name is fitting for a car that can disappear in a wink like a ghost if you push hard on the accelerator.
