Test 4 - Citroen Xantia 2.0 HDi Fuel Tank Pump - Air in pumped fuel. P0230 Fault

Description

Engine running with seperate 12V supply to the tank pump. First time engine started the warning light was on but it sounded ok. Switched off and re-started engine (left tank fuel pump running) and the engine warning light was off. It will probably be back on tomorrow! The current is steady and the sound of the tank pump is steady so I assume it is not pumping air. Why was there air in the Test 2 video!!! I now know the answer.
