Questa è una rarità: non è frequente vedere una macchina italiana che abbia un ruolo importante in un inseguimento automobilistico di un telefilm americano. Nel leggendario telefilm "CHiPs", Jon Baker (Larry Wilcox) e Francis Poncherello "Ponch" (Erik Estrada) inseguono una FIAT 128 1300 Berlina 4-Porte rubata; si tratta della versione americana, riconoscibile per i larghi paraurti in gomma. Povera 128: il tuffo finale conclude l' inseguimento ma, probabilmente, conclude anche la vita della macchina... This is a rarity: it isn't frequent to see an italian car that has an important role in a car chase of an american TV-series.
