Ford Escort XR3 Battery Bay Fix

Description

Some suggestions from myself to stop the rot in the battery bay area of Mk3 & 4 Ford Escorts. A battery cover protects the battery but water still flows into the area underneath. A plastic tray will collect water there but may overflow, or spill when driven (hence the material in the plastic container. So in the end I made a wall of silicone (and eventually painted it black to match my car) to direct the water where it should go. This seems to work so far. Depends if you park your car on a slope or not too. Try these suggestions at your own risk. I have to cover myself with that comment but really any risk is minimal. I'm not sure how a plastic tray or silicone will hurt you.
