"Capital Air Lines Bristol Britannia 301"-1956

Description

RARE! RARE! RARE! Only ONE Britannia was ever painted in Capital colours, and although 5 aircraft were originally ordered by the airline, NONE were actually taken up. In addition, this aircraft (Which was the prototype of the 300 series) would have a very short life; she crashed on 11/6/57, while landing in Bristol. Capital, of course, would end up merging with United in 1961, when the former fell into financial trouble. Be sure to check my channel for the BEST in VINTAGE & RARE airliner videos!
