1976 Ford Thunderbird 460 V8 early drive

One of the first times I had my 1976 Thunderbird on the road in May 2008. All stock except for dual exhaust and blocked EGR. Saw very little road/maintenance for several years prior to my ownership and ran pretty weak, with a noticeable miss. By the end of the 2008 season I'd replaced plugs, wires and coil. It ran a bit better but the gummy old Motorcraft carb is junk. Around Easter 2009, I will be pulling the motor and it will be rebuilt for around 450-500hp, 550-600lb-ft. The C6 will be rebuilt with 2500 stall and a shift kit. The 9" rear will get 3.25 gears with Traction-Lok.
