Although the current Honda Fit only just went on sale in the US in 2006, it's been selling in Japan since 2001. In addition to all-new sheetmetal, the next Fit sports a two-inch longer wheelbase that helps increase interior space. Larger 15-inch wheels are standard, and Honda says the revised 1.5-liter engine is more powerful than the last. Interior upgrades include an available navigation system, USB audio port and a more easily configurable rear seat. The new Fit should continue to start around $15000 when it arrives Fall 2008.
