2011 Lancia Delta Facelift

Description

2011 Lancia Delta Facelift Lancia has managed to place itself under the spotlight once again today, by releasing a number of photos and details for the newest models that will be unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show next month. Some belong to the Italian carmaker, while others have both Chrysler and Lancia blood in them. In order to bring the company's popular Delta hatchback up to date, its facelifted version will also make its way to the floors of the show. Originally launched in 2008, also in Geneva, the compact range flagship returns with a number of exterior changes, including a brand-new grille designed to reflect the new "Lancia family feeling", plus new proposals for trim levels and engine versions. The front end looks very dynamic, thanks to the generous lower air intake, beefy grille and LED daytime lights and taillights. Visitors will get a chance to see an example of the Delta that is powered by a newly-introduced Euro 5-compliant 1.6-liter MultiJet engine, that delivers 105 hp. It will sport the two-tone paintjob that comprises of "White Zenith" bodywork with a "Black Lava" roof. Meanwhile, the interior of the show-car will feature leather and beige Alcantara, dual zone automatic climate control, cruise control, the Blue&Me system and burnished 17" alloy wheels. The new Lancia Ypsilon supermini will also be seen for the first time ever as a 5-door version at the Geneva show, as will the Chrysler 200-based Flavia and the re-badged 300, known as the Thema.
