My 1974 VW Thing - First Drive Of The Season - Spring 2011 - (3-27-2011)

NOTE: There's definitely something wrong with the image stabilization on my video camera. The drive was *definitely* not jittery or wavy like that. Quite the contrary and very smooth actually. You can see how well it's aligned and how well it tracks too, by watching my hand on the steering wheel. Very stable. Maybe I should try shooting this again and have someone hand-hold the camera, instead of mounting it to a tripod in the back. But then again, even the first shot in the video was handheld and it's jittery too. Weird. Anyway, it felt good taking "Fats" (name of my VW Thing) out for a drive today. It was a gorgeous day, although a little chilly at 42 degrees Fahrenheit. Sit back, enjoy the ride (put your anti-jitter glasses on), and enjoy the tunes...
