What an MG Midget MkIV should sound like!

Description

Kinda-sorta original 1979 MG Midget, but only if you don't look closely. Original Triumph-sourced 1493cc four, with a few 'liberties'... 10:1 compression using Euro-spec forged pistons and .050" off the head Pacesetter header and 2" exhaust tubing, using a generic glasspack resonator and Pacesetter dual-outlet resonator tip (yes, it's obnoxious - especially over 3k rpm) Custom 288° APT cam and lifters PRI 4-Keihin intake Custom Fisher damper/pulley Stock flywheel, lightened MSD Digital-6 ignition utilizing stock Lucas distributor and Flamethrower coil All emissions removed Electric fan Addco sway bars front and rear, lowered 2" (not in this vid - it's on the stock springs for winter use), poly bushings front, nylon bushings rear, re-valved stock lever-action shocks Currently down for transmission problems. Probably in the vicinity of 90hp (up from the stock 56hp!). She'll run about 120mph flat-out and hit sixty in somewhere under seven seconds (compared to 13s stock!). Curb weight is approximately 1600lbs. And no, your Honda won't out-handle it. :p
