1990 Volkswagen Jetta Mk2 1.6L diesel, alternator belt drive modifcation

Description

Anyone who owns an older Volkswagen Jetta knows who quickly they can go through alternator belts, especially when the belt drive is worn. In this video, I take the viewer through one method of repair and modification of this system. As of uploading this video (2 days after completion of the job), I have over 100 miles on this (and counting) with no problems. I will continue to monitor this.
