2011 Chrysler 300 static and driving footage

Description

The 2011 Chrysler 300 has been leaked, teased and spied undisguised, but the company hasn't said anything official - until now. Seen here in the first batch of press photos, the redesigned 300 is a bastion of chrome and sinister styling. Notable highlights include a new grille, LED-infused headlights, a rakish windscreen, and sculpted bodywork. Inside, the cabin is vastly improved as material quality appears class-competitive. The overall design is familiar, but there are elegant details such as blue ambient lighting and real wood trim. Furthermore, new options include heated / cooled Nappa leather seats, a two-piece sunroof, and Uconnect Touch with an 8.4-inch screen. Under the hood, two engines will be available. The entry-level 3.6-liter V6 will produce 292 hp (218 kW / 296 PS) and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm) of torque, while the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 will crank out 370 hp (276 kW / 375 PS) and 395 lb-ft (536 Nm). Both will be connected to a five-speed automatic which sends power to the rear wheels (all-wheel drive will be optional). The Chrysler 300 will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show. High-res photos: www.worldcarfans.com
