1961 Pontiac Tempest V8 Animation

Description

An experimental stop-motion animation of a drawing of a 1961 Pontiac Tempest V8 engine. This derivative work was created by scanning a drawing of the engine, then using GIMP to create a part texture image (with necessary alpha channels). The part textures were then applied to selected polygons within a custom openGL application which simulated the running of the engine. This application also output each frame buffer to a unique image file. All of the image files were then compiled into a video using mencoder.
