1979 Toyota Corolla 3KC - made to last a lifetime

This 79 corolla was purchased used and it has been in my family for 25 years. Back in the 70's Toyota was making their place in the US auto market and this is one of the remaining cars Toyota produced. The corolla has a 3KC (1200) engine rated at an impressive 48 HP, it is actually 1166cc displacement. I think this is a fun car to drive, even if it is an ugly crapolla. I am driving the old reliable corolla because someone hit my 1991 Tercel and I need a car to drive until the 91 Tercel is repaired. Insurance will not fix it due to the age and book value.
