Description

1954 Austin Somerset, the last of the chassis A40 models. It has a 40 bhp engine with 4 gears in the column. The performance with so little power, is not up to today's fast moving traffic. The priorities shown in the details in the construction of the grill, are at odds with the lack of a sun visor for the passenger. Still this car has personality and that is more than can be said of so many modern "appliances"
