1929 Riley Brooklands drive past

Description

My father in his mates factory car being passed by me and my brother in my fathers 1932 12/4 Riley Special. It is a 1932 chassis, engine and running gear with body built in mid-90's in the style of 1930's factory race cars. In the 30's the company, Riley, won in its class at Le Mans and had a good racing pedigree. This car had originally been a four door saloon, but by the time my dad bought it about 12 years ago the car was just a chassis and engine. The chassis has been shortened and body designed and built. My father carried out all the works himself. The Brooklands however is the real thing. That actual car was driven coast to coast in America from New York in 1929,in a record time!
