Super Mario theme played (unplugged) on 12-string bass

Description

This is the Adler 12-string bass guitar. Being a bass player, I "invented" the single course 12-string bass so that as a musician, I could experience all of music as a pianist does. For those of you who write to me and tell me I did not invent this bass: Where did it come from? Why does it exist? Where did the low C0 string come from? How about the high G4 and Ab4 string for the 32" bass scale? This instrument, with 12 single course strings spanning 8 octaves did not exist until I commissioned Mike Adler to build it. This is not a Stick, and I purchased a Stick in 1975 because I was a two handed touch player. The Stick and the Warr are really two 5,6,7 etc. string guitars sharing the same fretboard. This is non stop 4ths C0-G4 or C#0 to Ab4. In searching for some beginning piano music on a piano sheet music site, I read a thread about beginning pianists asking where they could find sheet music of video game themes. This theme, the Super Mario Brother's Theme, was among them. What you are seeing/listening to here is a"unplugged." This tune and other basic piano pieces will be part of a book and DVD set that I am putting together as 7+ string bass guitars become more popular. If you'd really like to see the entire version, send an email. Thanks for watching.
