Samuel Adler Finds Harmony with UT Students

While the world might know composer and conductor Samuel Adler for his music, the talented artist is also a teacher. "I've taught for more than 50 years and I always advise students to get technique, don't write like an amateur," said Adler, who came to UT to perform, teach and observe during a two-day festival devoted to his music Nov. 12-13.
