MVRTA no 9846

Description

A sound ride onboard on of MVRTA's fleet of 1998 Skoda Model 14TRs. The chassis and bodies were built by Skoda with the traction motors, electronics and other goodies added on and finished by ETI of Ohio aka Electric Transit Incorporated. Traction motors push 183hp with around 1200 bls of torq and were supplied by GE last i heard. Top speed for these are capped at 40mph due to the poles not being designed for speed. This bus was recorded on the 4 run to the Eastown Hub from downtown back in 2006. Photo taken by me.
