Massey harris pony arrives on the trailer

One of a pair of our massey harris pony tractor's unloading itself from the trailer. We had driven it at the sellers property and all seemed well apart from the smokey exhaust so the plan was to deal with the smoke at our lesuire after getting it home and making sure everything was ok. Something seems to go wrong with the external rpm regulator and it overrev's the motor even though its only on 1/4 throttle and shortly after this video, a conrod snapped and made its exit and smashed the crankcase to pieces, the crack running from front to back of the entire engine block... Itll be rebuilt with another block I have spare, and afterwards it wont smoke! This is the french simca 1300 engined variant, not the continental engined USA market version. It has a 3 speed gearbox with a flat belt pulley, pto, and a manual 3 point linkage for a plough, which we also have.
