Mayor's Thames Festival 2009 in London - SOREA (Sound of Korea) SOREA is a five-person band that does vocal and pop music, but uses traditional music instruments. Over 60 artists direct from Korea present the very best Taekwondo, Korean traditional dance, contemporary culture, cuisine and film. A not-to-be-missed highlight is the UK premier of the group Sorea and their amazing fusion of contemporary music played on traditional Korean instruments with beats and high octane breakdancing. This showcase presented by the Korean Cultural Centre in London provides an opportunity to get a taste of Korea and enjoy its legendary hospitality with cooking demonstrations, tastings and stalls from some of London's leading Korean restaurants.
