Superlight 3.2kg JUN Flywheel Balancing - Daihatsu Charade GTti

Description

Here is my Superlight JUN Flywheel on the balancer (first spin), Worked on by Paolo Speziani. The balancer is also Paolo's own work. This ultra rare JUN flywheel is the only one known to be in use, Im not sure how many they originally made, must be more than 1! They are made from Chromoly Steel, so very tough. It was originally a fairly lightweight 3.8KG (standard GTti flywheel is 6.2kg) but now Paolo has cut arc's into the edge, and drilled holes around the starter ring. 600 grams lighter now. No thickness has been removed to retain strength. I will only be using this with a normal organic friction clutch disc, to make it last many years. If i was to use a cerametallic paddle clutch, eventually the flywheel would be chewed up.
