Pontiac Firebird Formula LT1-94: Drag race at Alastaro Finland 2009

My stock Firebird Formula 1994 performing at Alastaro Drag Race track 15.8.2009. Traction was excellent on Alastaro track and i made my best time so far. Car is complete stock so it is capable of around 14.000 time at its best. My previous -08 record was 14.519, so this time it improved over 0.25 sec! This car is driven around 115 000 miles (185035 kilometers). Despite of its age and mileage, it performs like new LT1 car! 350 V8 is such a powerhorse and durable. It needs frequent service like all cars but this baby gives a good ride! It "won" both pulls but there wasn't any official competition ongoing, althought it is nice to see how LT1 compete these Turbo cars (only two pulls made because of 150 cars and bikes, terrible queue). First competitor was some Toyota Avalon with big turbo boost (US model, around 250 hp stock?) and second car was some old 80's Volvo 240 with very big Turbo. Volvo actually got better 1/8 mile time but it had some obvious problems in the latter half of the run. I made some research of that car and it revealed that it has had some 350 horsepowers in the engine so it should have won. I was lucky.
