Scott Malone struck the woodwork for the visitors with a superb free-kick. Eagles put Burnley ahead after Jack Cork's sublime back-heel and struck from close range after the break. Eagles later hit the post before Calvin Zola pulled a goal back with a deft finish but Martin Paterson bundled the ball home to settle the tie late on.
