Volkswagen 2.0L TSI Engine in pieces....

Description

This 2008 Jetta came into the shop with 30000km and a oil consumption issue, burning a litre and a half every 1000km. Compression test shows a range of 140-155psi dry, and 165-175psi wet. All cylinders compression results do not pass the VW spec of 161psi-201psi dry. Since car is warranty, it was reccomened to me by VW to replace the piston rings. I've never had one of these engines this far apart, so enjoy a look at the guts of a 2.0L FSI.
