Building the 1978 Ford Escort RS1800

Description

This is the build process of a model that I did in October 2006, of the Revell-Europe Hannu Mikkola's 1979 Spec Ford Escort Mk2 RS1800. Due to owning the real thing, it was a mission to find this kit - to the point where I actually had this kit ordered over from Germany! (which to New Zealand is an incredibly long way). Building the car was a pleasure, and it was interesting to compare it to my own car - this model's detailing hit the mark! Soundtrack utilized is The Fall - "Mountain Energy"
