1976 Mazda Capella - 1600 Turbo

This is some old footage of my turbo 1600 capella with my buddies s1 in the background. Unfortunately this is the only video I have, none of the car on the roads. fresh built 1600 oversized to ~1690, balanced, lightened flywheel, hd clutch, ported head and big Crane cam. small garret turbo, weber 32/36 carb, series 4 rx7 intercooler, malpassi regulator, VL pump. 2.5" dump through to rotaflo muffler with 1 resonator - really quiet ( no cop heat!) welded diff and full auto-meter to keep an eye on things. estimated 160hp from the butt dyno. for comparison it would just fall behind older wrx's i still own the car but it is no longer turbo (had issues with reliability). I do however want to built it back up and when I do i promise to get some good video!
