6 180th Fighter Wing airmen honored
Description
Six airmen with the 180th Fighter Wing were honored Sunday as the wing's outstanding airmen of the year for 2010. Five airmen won wing Airman of the Year honors while one airman was selected as outstanding airman by the wing chief master sergants enlisted council. Airman of the year: Senior Airman Sara Hinds (Operations Group) Non-Commissioned Officer: Technical Sergrant Lewis B. Smith (Mission Support Group) Senior Non-Commissioned Officer: Master Sergeant Nathan Howard (Medical Group) First Sergeant: Master Sergeant Norm Drzewiecki (Mission Support Group Base Honor Guard Member: Master Sergeant Jeremy Lohman (Mission Support Group) The five selected airmen will advance to compete at the the Ohio Air National Guard level in Columbus in December. Senior Airman Jaron Franklin, 180th Fighter Wing Security Forces, was selected as an outstanding airman by the wing's chiefs council.
