1950 WAS CHRYLSER CORP. 25TH YEAR OF EXISTENCE. EACH DIVISION HAD MINOR FACELIFTS AND DESIGN CHANGES BUT THE CHRYSLER WINDSOR MODEL WAS GIVEN THE GIFT OF A STYLE OF INTERIOR DECOR THAT HAD BEEN USED BEFORE FOR A FEW YEARS. CALLED THE HIGHLANDER PATTERN, THIS SCOTTISH TYPE OF KILT PLAID UPHOSTERY GRACED THE FRONT AND REAR SEATS AND THE DOORS AS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS VIDEO. THE WINDSOR SERIES WAS SECOND FROM THE BOTTOM IN PRICE AND OPTIONS. THE ROYAL WAS AT THE BOTTOM, NEXT WINDSOR WHICH INCLUDED TRAVELER & NEWPORT, THEN SARATOGA, NEW YORKER, TOWN & COUNTRY, IMPERIAL, AND THEN THE TOP OF THE LINE, CROWN IMPERIAL. ALL THE CHROME AND TRIM ON THIS VEHICLE IS IN RELATIVELY GOOD SHAPE WITH A FEW PIECES DINGED BUT IF RESTORED ALL OF THE CHROME ON BUMPERS, GRILLE, TRIM, AND GRAVEL GUARD WOULD NEED TO BE REPLATED. AND NOTICE THE 3-PIECE REAR BACK LIGHT SIMILIAR TO STUDEBAKER'S STARLIGHT COUPE. THE PALOMINO CREAM PAINT IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND THE BODY IS DENT AND RUST FREE. EVEN THOUGH OVER 20 THOUSAND OF THIS CLUB COUPE WERE MADE IN 1950, THEY ARE SELDOM SEEN. SO THIS IS TRULY AN ORIGINAL SURVIVOR CAR IN CONDITION 4.
